About Joseph Mead
Joseph Mead is a children’s book illustrator from Michigan with over 10 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Illustration from Kendall College of Art and Design.
When he isn’t drawing professionally, Joe is usually drawing just for fun! He loves going to zoos and national parks to sketch wildlife. Always on the lookout for adventure, his sketchbooks are full of talking forest critters, mysterious castles, and knights battling dragons. His hobbies include roleplaying games, storytelling, woodcarving, playing guitar, finding cool animals, and building with LEGO® bricks.
Joe is happily married and lives in Michigan with his wife and baby daughter.
